well i will try and be as helpful with the description of our cinema as possible. that way  the help and info i received from this site can be past on to you well here it goes. i first started with a purchase of a projector with 2500 lumens then from info on byt i was sterred toward purchasing some black out cloth for screen material some pvc for a frame and grommets to attach the screen to the frame. the grommets tore out after there 2nd use so a friend of mine suggested using industrial strength velcro i found on the internet 2 inch self adhesive it worked great i could setup and tear down in minutes. then i got bored with the 9foot by 12 foot design i knew i was not using the projector for all it was worth( it can shoot a much larger image) so i started construction on a 15 foot by 20 foot screen code named the beast so the wife would not know what i was talking to my buddies about lol. i purchased more pvc and connections and got in touch with an billboard advertising company to obtain some screen material that way i would not have any seems in my screen. the frame was built without glue the screen was attached with ratchet straps that hook on to metal conduit that is inside pockets that runalong the edges of the screen ,but the frame started to buckle on the side so i have to put in some cross braces to nullify that then glue all pvc ratchit it on and hang on the wall i am about 90% done almost there so these are not finished  pictures i will post my old screen which has no cross braces and the beast  the beast with no cross braces then later with complete pics of the beast thank you

this was the first frame notice i did not use any cross bracing and it worked great 9x12 i also put some tees on it to support it on the wall see pic and a picture of the velcro and some 4x4s in the walls empty cells for verticle support overkill

well thats the first screen now construction pics of the beast. here is the vinyl material in a pile then the material layed out with the dry fitting of the screen to the frame and las pic of the ratchet to the conduit in the pocket on one side notice the size difference from my old scrren on the wall and the beast on the ground but my wife says that the size doesnt matter its how you use it  ..................................well i will post more pics as i finish constructing thank you

a couple more pics this is the cross member install and we stood it up without any pvc joints glued and washed off the grass it was dark so the pics are not the best and i still have to glue the entire thing together it seemed a little unstable but thats how the 9x12 was until i glued it

well the beast was up and i played with the pj a little and came to the conclusion that i could reduce the size of the beast by about 3 feet in height so the next pics are of the cuts made reducing the height i will post more later of the screen back togther after reglueing all the joints that were made by the size reduction so stay tunned

Fast Eddie!  This is exactly the design I came up with to work with a similar wall in our back yard.  I still haven't made it yet, but I've been dreaming and designing for a long time and this clip-style deal is perfect!  I'll show you what I come up with before long.
