I've had two showings so far and might get one more in if the weather (cold) cooperates.  Here's my screen and setup so far and I look forward to the off season to tweak things up a bit.  Thanks to everyone's suggestions and input.


Projector - Epson PowerLite 740c
Screen - BOC  94" (7' 10") x126" (10' 6") with grommets (Walmart kit) spaced ~ 15.5".  The edge of the screen has 1.5" cotton webbing from Joann Fabrics sewn around the edge by folding over twice (courtesy of good ol' Mom's sewing skills).  PVC framing is 1.5" with adjustable supports stands sleeving into 2" PVC.  During the off season I'm going to shorten the height down to 71" for a true 16:9 configuration.  Instead of cutting the fabric down, I'll just hang it over the top and pull it tight with longer buncies.
Audio - In the audio photo I am using my old Onkyo, but have since stepped up to an HK AVR-135 receiver with 2 speakers borrowed from the family room foir the rears, a JBL 12" Venue Series Powered Sub, and two outdoor Phoenix speakers for the fronts.  My center channel speaker is shot and I intend to replace that in the off season.  My receiver switches between my dvd players through the video inputs and monitor out.
DVD Players - Panasonic borrowed from family room and a Philips DVP-5140

Nice tight screen. I like how you have speakers mounted on frame and wiring looks to be run through pvc. Neat and tidy(I can only dream).

And another win for us BOC guys! Great job. I'm doing something similar with mounting the speakers to the PVC frame. Guess I need to update some of my pictures. I agree, it clerans everything up and gets it out of the way. Looks really nice.

Thanks gang.  I got the PVC idea from another post on here somewhere.  I was a little short on speaker wire that night, but it worked out fine since the center channel went on me and I had phantom center on the receiver.  Anyway, I have incandescent rope lights running on the PVC so the kids don't trip on it when it gets dark and those are attached to a universal dimmer.  The rope lights and dimmer were less than $15 if I remember correctly.  Everything is kept secure with velcro ties including the speakers you see.  I picked up more speaker wire for the next showing and will be tinning the ends and adding some banana plugs to make it more plug and play friendly.  In the off season I will be looking for a way to keep the equipment together so that I can just carry out a sotrage container and away we go.  I'd really like to get the setup time down to a minimum so I can enjoy the guests a little more before the show.  I think I'm just as excited about the off season as I was for my first show.
