Hey FarmFlix,

Sorry that didn't work out quite the way you had hoped -- but you did your part.  You can't save all the whales, ya know.  But maybe the next time they drive by like that, they'll stop.  Or the time after that.

And believe me, the more times you setup like this, the quicker it is to 'throw' a movie party together.  You'll know just what to grab and what you'll need out there for X-many people.  There have been times when we'll end up with 15-20 people here after a softball game and we didn't even plan to have a movie.  But you learn just which piles of chairs to grab, etc.  You have a great looking setup!  But where are the Kangaroo's?

It has been great enjoying your summer posts over our winter here in the Midwest.  Some of us in the Midwest will be returning the favor soon.  It's supposed to be 67 here today!  So I'll hope you'll stick with us over your winter in Australia!  It's a small world after all.

Thank you everyone,of course I will hang around and I will watch your experiences and wish you all well.
I am toying with an Idea to extend my season, since I have the land for a mini drive-in hehe, then all the neighbor's can sit in their cars and ignore each other:)
admission charge for some (just joking) but not about the mini drive- in..
Anyway I only have to wait until mid sept and have another 2008-2009 season!
I can also semi enclose my back verandah and have a mini theater almost outdoors.
It would be fun to scare the neighbors saying I am either going to build a huge drive- in screen and cater for 50 -100 cars or have a rave party/music videos on an outdoor screen LOL
The kangaroos only come out early morning or late afternoon, there are also platypus in the creek! They will probably miss all the excitement like I will Smiley
hmm that's a  good cinema name "Platyplex 1" I can see the logo now...
