I should have a pair of ButtKicker LFE’s and their amp to add to the backyard theater by the weekend.  They will mount under our deck platform (and will be waterproofed).  I'm looking for movie recommendations with particularly good low-end to demo these shakers.  A couple of fairly recent releases -- something for ages 13 to adult.  Do any particularly dynamic (audio) standouts come to mind to test these?  Maybe a good rumbling thunderstorm, helicopter, train movie...

Would also welcome feedback from folks who have these installed in platforms.

Thanks,

Randy

The opening scene of Jurassic Park has to be THE benchmark for low-end rumble!!

Another great one is the "Train" scene in The Fugative!!!

Cool!   I'll have to check that one out.  For surround sound (not just LFE) I always liked the opening scene from "Shattered".  Bad slow motion car crash, lots of glass tinkling around, etc.
