Maybe most of you all ready know about this site but incase you don't:

http://www.movie-list.com/classics-alpha.php

I use the trailers (of the movies I will be showing) in my preshows by bringing them in to Adobe Premiere CS3 for editing. People seem to get a kick outta seeing the coming attractions

That's awesome...but how do you save them to your computer?

You need QuickTime Pro ($20) for some of the files. Let the QuickTime movie play all the way through then right click and SAVE SOURCE AS to you computer.

Rather than start a new topic, I thought I'd just tag on this one. I was searching for trailer sites and found this one http://www.demo-world.eu/trailers/ .  Plenty of movie trailers, plus Dolby, THX, 1080 HD, and a few others. The files are all in rar (zip) and contain the vob file, if you don't want to use the vob, rename the extension to mpg and play it in most media players...you probably already knew that.

Great find MikeMiesen thanks.
many trailers are 5.1 as well! and being vob don't need converting for DVDshrink to handle YAY!

Anything that saves a step is good by me.  I wish there was a way to sort by release date (rather than just alphabetical).

This thread explains how to save Quicktime trailers without buying Quicktime Pro.  I use this trick for all my previews.

I was very excited when I found it a while back, and was surprised at the lack of response after posting it. I was convinced everyone else knew something i didn't, and now I know there was at least one other person...Yeah !  I know I don't post much, but I must check this site at least...never mind it's too embarassing. Never had much luck with the QT thing, but I'll have to try it again.
