Lurch is correct.
Young Plymouth went through company after company before buying his SP-831 from the Monitor Outlet folks. No upsell, no grey market and they did not even charge me for the box it was shipped in. As far as price and no gotchas, these folks are the real deal. I had them put in writting that my BenQ was not grey market or pre-owned, must include the bulb and remote control. and came with a USA warranty. They did.
The rule of thumb is: If the on line shop is from NY, say good by.
They must have different rules to sell projectors there...

Yes I have been bitten Grin
I am fortunate that my wife was the instigator on this project so no money issues Shocked
So I now have everything except the PS3. On the 12th they are releasing a newer version that is "more" backwards compatable and has a 80 gig hdd with new controller for $499.00. Or do I go NOW and pick up what is on the shelf!!
I put the screen up last night, and for the money you can't go wrong with that puppy.

June 12, will seem like a long time to wait,  Wink I would just try everything with a plain DVD player just to make sure everything works. Then on the 12th get the PS3.  Grin

Just to update a little, heres a bbb report about the Ny Bait and switch

http://search.newyork.bbb.org/reports.aspx?pid=44&page=1&id=87988

I too got sucked in but finally went to Benq's site and searched there recommend online retailers, Monitoroutlet.com was the cheapest I could get the Sp-831 by about 300 dollars. Im just glad I don't live closer to NYC otherwise I think Id beat one of these guys with a bat.

Sorry to hear about your issue with that company. Stick with what the forum members suggest here.
BTW, Where did you get your wagon? I was looking for one of those.

Here's an interesting site - shows what a lot of these stores actually look like.
