my set up

homemade Lumen Lab 17" LCD projector

.5" CHEAP pcv screen (I was going to go 1" but  didnt have the money and dont expect to use this that much, it works with .5" but bends a little, im aure 1" would be better)

Screen- Very cheap canvas sheet i got for free

sound - 5.1 surround klipsch

Watched Ultraviolet  and played Tekken 5 on the ps2

Worked fantastic!! I am getting blackout cloth this week, so other than the thin thin screen it worked GREAT!

Congrats r3no.  Welcome to the madness!

Yeah, I'd love to see some pics of your projector.  It'll be interesting to see how those evolve as people add their own spin.  Glad you were happy with the results, even with the low-end screen.  Point it at the big flat white thing and let 'er rip!

2nd movie night


I purchased some blackout cloth and WOW

that cloth works really really good, the image was really bright !!


I had more people turn up this time and we played Tekken 5 again, watched some of The Office (us version) and some Americas Funniest Videos

i have pics, will post soon!
