I'm not surprised, I think his quick pop in and out was as much about helping out his SEO as anything.

I had hoped though that he was going to be a bit more active here, I know he's been a member for some time.  His company has a TON of experience and I would put them in the top 5 Outdoor Movie Event companies in the U.S.. Experience like that is always welcome and encouraged by someone like me.

Yes it would but at the same token he might feel threatened by the growing number of nationwide competitors especially in his neck of the woods.

Yeah, I think he is a little worried about me and my CB. Grin

Nope nothing that I've been able to find.  The concept is interesting though, at least in theory.

Heck the bounce house industry has all kinds of such agencies and we have none.  Maybe we should start our own.

Outdoor Guitar Hero II Throw Down

I made the list.

Thanks for the heads up. I think it's a scream because I can't wait for Spring to "spring" and get out there with my "unattractive and unprofessional" screen and watch some movies.

I fired off the message below in the "Contact Us" section. If that doesn't work, I'll have an attorney at work draw something up. What a dirt bag.

+++++++++++
Please remove the top photo at your page http://www.southernoutdoorcinema.com/ask.htm immediately. It is the first picture in your column titled “Examples of BAD Screens” with the caption “PVC with sheet: Unattractive, unprofessional and will tip in wind.”

This is my backyard, and an image I produced. I grant you no rights to display or reproduce in any printed literature.

Please remove immediately, and reply to wmflickfamily@gmail.com confirming my image is no longer is displayed on your site.

By the way, my "Unattractive, unprofessional" PVC screen suits my hobbyist needs to a T. It does become a bit unwieldy in the wind though.

Yeah, you look like you're having a bit of fun with that screen in your avatar.  It's a GREAT screen!  Pretty self serving that they would pick that photo to scare potential clients into using their service.

Keep us/me posted on this, Wally.  I have to admit, I missed this thread until last night and took a quick look at the site.  Wondered who's pic that was but I was toast for the day.  Had to laugh (I think that was a laugh) when I read in their footer, All Rights Reserved Images and Content Property of etc., etc..  I mean, they're pretty big on all the rules and licensing and such.

Are you sure you didn't grant them a license for promoting their services with that photo and maybe you just forgot? Smiley

You should cdepaola. I believe I saw a comparative photo of their screen (Airscreen) vs an Open Air screen on the quality category.
