Gives me some ideas too!  We are a "theatrical" family. (Actors, Directors, my wife is one of the Production Manager for the Cleveland Playhouse Square).

And all I'd need to do is put up a little stage, maybe some lights, and voila!

A location for dinner, a show and a movie nights!

What a GREAT idea!  And it looks like you're having so much fun too.

Thanks, I may be stealing this one for next season.  Getting kinda cold here in Ohio for this year.  But now I've got some plans for next year (season)

~Cheers!

ActionJax - Thanks for the kind words!  It was indeed a lot of fun and well worth the effort.  I highly recommend it!

It is also very fun to get out and hear local artists at very small (think coffee shops and small cafe's) venues.  Most are intrigued and willing to perform "house concerts."

For Ellis in particular my comment is simply this:  When I listen to most performers I hear the music first and the lyrics seem secondary.  With Ellis, however, the music is a means to get the lyrics into your heart.  She is a very moving performer with powerful messages and it's impossible not to love her performances.  (Most people end up walking away with at least one of her CD's.)  We particularly love giving young people a very close up experience with quality live music!

Have fun and post pictures/video clips of your next event, please!
