I use an old Insignia 5.1 receiver that I've had forever. It doesn't even have HDMI, but it works just fine to power the old cabinet speakers in the back yard.

I have a personal affinity towards Yamaha. First one was RX-V375 and when my receiver in my living room when the 375 went there. Then I got a great price on a discontinued RX-V467 that I used for years but my Sony went in the bedroom and voila.....new home for the 467. Currently looking around pawn shops and thrift for an outdoor replacement. Have only done about 5 BYT's this year and mainly smaller yards so I have settled for my Bose sounddock and a BIC sub I got for $35 from a local thrift shop.
