I know there's a LOT of posts on here about defunct drive in's, so I thought I'd show you all one which is actually alive and doing *very* well! It's the Charcoal Corral and Silver Lake Twin DriveIn located in Perry NY... The drive in itself is, as the name implies, a twin screen setup but the coolest thing is that there is a pretty big grass area between the parking area and the screen where they have DJ style speakers setup and a play ground area so people can bring lawn chairs and watch the movie BYT style. This is actually where we got the idea to do our own BYT! Smiley Anyway, there's a LOT of other things to do there too; mini golf, a stage, arcade, a pizzeria, 2 sit down restaurants and they have car shows once a week. Fun place to go early and just hang out until the movies start and they are generally always busy!

That looks like a great drive-in!  I love seeing the playground equipment under the screen.  Enjoy.

WOW! What a great looking Drive In!
That place truly looks like it would be Ton-O-Fun.
Great website too! I liked reading the "history" of how it came to be.
