Tonight was the initial screening of a movie using the wireless Joey from Dish Network. We purchased "Jack Reacher" from Video on demand.
The Joey was set up in my driveway about 75 ft from my router in the house. The wireless signal strength was 50+ (on a scale of 1 - 100). All forms of programming streamed great. Live TV, recorded shows from the dvr and the video on demand all played flawlessly Having wireless access to my Hopper gives me a lot more flexibility in my viewing choices. For $25, the wireless adapters are a great investment. We also added in a small sub woofer from my old Cinego projector - huge difference!

I'm always a little distrustful of wireless streaming, but I'm glad it worked out for you!

I just received wireless adapter for my Joey last week but I have yet to try it outside.  I have been looking for a simple solution to get TV to my projector for outdoor viewing.  Hopefully, I have the same success as you.

Don't know about Comcast. Never had their service. A phone call to their tech support would get you an answer (I wouldn't trust their customer support. As much as I like Dish, I only talk to their broadband tech support. Their front line support is pretty much useless.)
