Recently I have been thinking of using an Amazon Fire Stick with my Epson MovieMate 85 in the yard.  I have a Fire Stick attached to each of my TVís in house now because I have switched from cable to Sony Vue.  So far I like my setup but would like to try it outside.  I will let you know how it works once I give it a try. Hopefully, this weekend.

how do you like the Epson 85?  I have the 30 & still love it. I would have thought by now the price would be down in the $400 range & that there would be a new model out

Genesis76,
I remember when I first got the BYT Bug all the great things you had to say about your Epson 30 got me looking at Epsonís in the first place.  I started with the Epson 60 and then moved up to the 85.  I really like the projector.  It is compact and the built in DVD player is convenient.  I take it camping all the time.  The fact that it has an HDMI connection really opens up what I can do with it.  I have use it with a PS3, WDTV and now the Fire Stick.  The Projector takes whatever I throw at it and keep on impressing me.

Thanks Jim I love mine also to this day. The HDMI & 720P would be a nice upgrade but I guess Epson is not putting R&D into new machines. I thought by now they would have a Blu-ray unit. & the cost would be down on the 85. They are great machines a real workhorse.  Thanks again
