Stach, that's pretty scary. I am saying prayers that all goes well. Please stay still as much as you can. I think a lot of the people on this forum are Doers, and it is hard for a doer to sit for very long. But you must let your body heal.

My father, his sister, his mother, and his father all had diabetes. I know what not following the doctor's orders can mean. Please, please, be the best patient you can be.

I have diabetes in my family as well and I know what you mean, it can be disastrous.   And yes, I think we are mostly all doers here.  Sure is hard of me to sit still for very long.  Heck I was on my feet for 14 hours today, and it was my day off work!  I couldn't image being told I couldn't do anything for 6 weeks!!!   But Oldalgebra is right, you need to do what the doc says, so you can enjoy that theater for years to come.
