hi guys, I am seriously thinking about getting a digital antenna for all my over the air broadcast TV watching. However, I do have an AV receiver I'd like to use with it. I want to get rid of my cable box most likely, and do the Netflix Roku route. I would like to have the full surround and subwoofer experience with this over the air TV watching. The antenna seems to need to be plugged into the back of the TV and as a result I am limited to the TV speakers. How can I use the aerial antenna with an AV receiver?

Check your TV.  It should have an Audio Out that you can then run down to the receiver.
