Hi All,

It's been some time since I posted but I'm still an avid reader of the forum. Our family recently updated our weekender and my first thoughts were that this place would BYT nirvana. My 8 year old son had a mate out on Saturday night and we watched Mall Cop II - good fun for kids. The new AV buggy is the ride on mower trailer which serves well for lugging the gear from the shed to the yard.

Here are some pics.

Pictures look great, looks like you have a really great setup.  Also I really like the idea of using the riding lawn tractor.

Thanks SR, you know I got some really useful advise from the BYT forum members a couple of months back when it came time to purchase a new projector. Here it is in action the Epsom Powerlite 1980WU with its 4400 lumens, great picture quality and this is one of its first outings as we're still in Winter. The trailer proved handy and I'm certain to use it again, the gear is heavy and I think I'd be less motivated to put on a movie if carting the stuff was too arduous. My last setup was far more convenient and time efficient though less picturesque in its outlook. So far all is good.

Great setup and nice pics!  My equipment has made outings a little harder this year (my first year), hence less showings than I had hoped.  But now that I've found and built some easier mods for my byt, I'm positive that I'll be having more showings next year.  Just a few more for this year.

Your setup looks very sharp!

Haven't seen either of the mall cop movies, but i think I'll give them a try with my 6th grade grandson'd crowd.

Thanks for the compliments, I'm always trying to make the setup a bit better. My last purchase was an improved extension lead system and this has made the power cords less visible and the result, at least in my mind it all looks cleaner, though I'm fairly certain no one else watching the movie noticed my efforts! I think we all find that pretty typical as connoisseurs of byt. I'm really happy with the area I have to play with to put up the screen and you can see from the night shots that there is a real "touch the sky" feel as the area I'm using is quite elevated.

OA, I know its a bit corny but these are fun movies where kids like them and I can have a bit of a laugh too. I should also thank you for your ideas which I have blatantly plagiarised over the years in coming up with my own setup, it seems only fair that I contribute something back to you.

I feel the trailer may become a bit of a fixture in future as it proved very functional and added to the rural ambience
