Whats everyone using for sledgehammers?

When you miss the double head of those Hogan 4 foot stakes and the head of the stake hits the sledge handle man does it chew them up and eventually snaps over time.

I seen this one but figure even after a few misses it'll still chew up the rubberized coating around the head of the handle. I thought I seen one that had steel around the base near the hammers head.

I have a stake driver on my jack hammer but in some places the grounds soft not desert rock and can be put in with a hammer.

Thanks,
Chaz
