It was a step back in time for me. In the 60's I operated 15 D-I.

please tell me about the screen..
who makes it?
what size is it (40ft)?
the screen sheet looks like it has 3-4 seams am I seeing that right?
Is the white a vinyl or cinema fabric?
What is the natural screen height from ground 30" to 40"?
What was the screen height after you setup on the flatbed?

rg, I knew you had run drive-ins.  One day you have got to tell me your story.  I'm a fair bit younger than you and by the time I discovered drive-ins they were only a handful left in my area.  I fell in love with the hole drive-in experience, which then motivated me to start my BYT.  In 2012 the last drive-in in my area closed.  Now the nearest one is over 100 miles from my home.  Anyhow, sometime I would love to hear about your years in the drive-ins.

Also I'd be curious to know what you used for sound.  I assume an FM transmitter of some sort?
