Update: Link Fixed

So we usually have a bunch of folding camp chairs that we setup when we host a movie night.  When I saw the inflatable loungers advertised on Facebook, Kickstarter, etc. I thought that they might be a pretty cool seating solution for the outdoor theater, not to mention great for camping, the beach, etc.  I love hammocks and these seemed like hammocks that you can take anywhere!

Bottom Line:  They are pretty cool, but they aren't as easy to fill as the ads suggest.  While really comfortable, light, and portable, they don't stand up well to getting in and out of, once you are in them you need to stay they or you are going to have to refill them.  Also, they don't really breath, so if it is warm or humid, you are going to leave a big sweat spot behind.

There are a bunch of companies that make these.  A buddy of mine sprung for a Fatboy, made by Lamzac, and then bought a couple of the off brands.  While the Fatboy was the best, its not worth the $50-60 upcharge:

I mean its just two air bladders and ripstock.  They are probably all made in a handful of Chinese factories:
