The family and I finally watched new Ghostbusters.  All in all, I was pretty pleased with it.  I liked the original better, but I thought this one was pretty good, although I was happy that my daughter and I watched the originals before she saw this one.  It is PG-13, but I think it is pretty family friendly in spite of that rating.  The cast is good, the story is okay, and the film will look really good on a big screen....even better in 3-D.  If you haven't seen it, I think it is worth picking up, I don't think you will be sorry you did.

Thanks for the info.  I'm not really good about keeping up on new movies.  When the last drive in, in our area closed down after 2012 I've pretty much quit watching new movies and whats coming out.  The one exception to that was when Starwars came out last winter.  I traveled over 100 miles and rented a hotel room just so I could the movie at one of the only drive ins in the pac nw that is open in the winter.  So I now rely on word of mouth to know whats out and whats good and bad.  I'll put Ghostbusters on the list to show for 2017 at the Sit & Vue.  Do you think the original version and this one would be a good pair on a double feature?
