I haven't been around here a while but its holiday season again. This year I finally manged to assemble enough components for my Christmas village so here it is.

Yes, even this christmas village deserves a drive in theater! Projector is a AAXA p3 ($30 on ebay) which is connect via hdmi to a media player placed below the table. Screen size is about 17" diagonal. Super sharp image since the native resolution is somewhere between dvd (480p) and HD (720p)

I placed a bunch of clips from movies, youtube, and other sources for my video presentation. Very happy with the result. Happy holidays!

Viewable even in daylight

Wonderful!
Great addition to your village. I'd probably have the B&W  movie  It's a Wonderful Life playing on the screen over and over. You're starting early with the decorations. Me too,

Here's another setup that was quick to make and looks great. Using my spare Optoma pico projector I downloaded some star animations from youtube and projected them to be the star of bethlehem above my nativity scene. Very easy to make and non-obstrusive.
