So it is Dec 8th for most people now, but today marked the 75th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor Day.  There have been a ton of remembrance events on Oahu this past week, including an outdoor film series.

The following movies were shown:

Twelve O’Clock High (Air Force Theme)

Run Silent, Run Deep (Navy Theme)

From here to Eternity (Army Theme)

The Sands of Iwo Jima (Marine Corps Theme)

Just in case you weren't able to make it out to Waikiki for the shows, you might be able to watch one of these movies at home and reflect upon those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.  I got to participate in a memorial this morning at 0755, when the first wave struck, and the stories of the survivors was truly inspirational.

I'm think about it often...........sad day!

I showed Run Silent, Run Deep a few years ago outside with a little wind blowing it really added to the ocean shots as the waves were very realistic LOL  It made the movie better LOL
