Since it is winter  Cry Cry Cry I have decided to say something about some three way speakers I bought for my home use......They are not the top of the line but for the money give me an outstanding sounding speaker for my budget.

They are made for outdoors but I will not say they are 100% rustproof as the screen & springs will rust after a few years.

My house:

I have a sunroom with two speakers built into the wall running to a REC & five disk CD unit.

I have a stereo switch that allows me to run two more sets of speakers One being under my sunroom facing our patio. The next set run underground out to our above ground pool. This is where I put the first set of Dual speakers for music poolside. They sound real nice from the pool.

My backyard Theater is a Sony SS system that came with five speakers & a sub.
For my front three speakers I use the Dual speakers including the center speaker.

They sound good....maybe I am pushing it using the dual as a center but I still give it a six on a 1-10.

Ok I bought six of these speakers two (poolside) are kept out all the time & the three BYT speakers come in after the movie. The two poolside I have painted the grills with outdoor paint a couple of times since 2008 & they look very good.

I think one speaker went bad in late fall so since I bought six & use five I will just replace one without buying anything Grin Grin Grin Grin

I should cover the speakers that are left out just for the winter because that makes a huge difference IMO. I have done this a couple of times & I am sure I could get over 10 years out of this speaker.  Also spray the clip springs with WD40 a couple of times a year.

When I have used covers I use white garbage bags LOL

They come in white or black: I have all black but a friend that has had them for five years now had white, He loves them. His were rusted pretty bad because he did not cover or paint them for the winter for four years. I painted them for him last year & they look pretty good now but not as good as my speakers do.

They also make a 125 watt version that must be good but at 100 watts each these are the size & have the quality I am looking for..

These won't be for everyone but for many that are into value I think they can't be beat

Here they are
