G'day from downunder!
I'm new here.
Last summer, I launched my backyard cinema using a bedsheet pegged to a trampoline turned on it's sides. Everyone loved it, but the sheet fluttering in the breeze really annoyed me.
So my Dad and I have just finished putting together what I've called the "Superwide".
We bought a 2.75m x 1.20m wooden board, painted it white and attached it to an old table tennis table and turned it on it's side... I'm pleasantly suprised with the results! Our backyard's quite small, so the size does the job perfectly.
Looking forward to having some friends around for the re-launch when the weather warms up a bit.
I'm also shopping around for some better sound... last summer, we used some old computer speakers which were quite loud, but not quite loud enough for my liking. So I've bought some old speakers and am now looking for an old amplifier... I find the older setups have much more power than the new stereos with AUX input. Anyways.. still having trouble finding the amplifier... they seem to be quite sought after!
