My Outdoor Theater

These are pictures I took at different times last summer but never got around to posting.
Here are a couple of pictures of my setup during the day. Unfortunately I didn’t take any close-ups of how the screen attaches to the frame.
I am using Dazian Heavyweight Trapeze connected to 1” EMT. It is roughly a 12x7 screen. I had someone sew a pocket around the 4 sides to slide the poles through. The pockets were made a little small so I always had a hard time setting it up and taking it down. If the pockets were a little bigger it would be a breeze.
Here is a picture from the back corner of my yard.

Here is a picture a little closer. The small addition to the left side of my house is an outdoor bar my neighbors and I built a couple of years ago.

This is a close-up picture with the flash. The picture is washed out but you can get an idea of how it attaches to the frame.
Here is the same shot without the flash.

Here are a couple of a basketball game. I’m not a big basketball fan but it looked good while surfing the channels so I thought I would take a couple pictures.

Here are a couple that I reversed the image for rear projection. Has a real good image on that side too. Good for watching in the pool.

Nice setup, Joe. I'm going to be posting my pictures soon. As soon as I figure out how to post my pictures. I have a Gemmy and a Sima XL-12. Right now, I use my Gemmy the most.

Thanks KMac, I'd like to get one of thoses screens some day. I was trying to do this cheap for the WAF. She enjoys it so much now I'll probably have an easier time getting approval now than I did originally.
I look forward to seeing your pictures.

I've always thought this setup looked really good. I think Joe has some photography experience he's not telling us about because these are hard to expose shots. This one always impresses me on the home page.

Thanks Matt!
I have to give the credit of the pictures to the camera though. I just turned off the flash and they came out like that. It's an Olympus C series I think.
I am very happy with how my backyard turned out though. It looked a lot different when we bought the house about 6 years ago. I actually just found some pictures the other day that I took before any of the work was done.
Here is one of the pictures. I would like to say that no trees were hurt during the update but unfortunately that wouldn't be accurate. The grass appreciated it though since it could barely grow with all the shade that was there.
