I made something similar with my wife's small cookie sheet. She wasn't real happy about it!  It does make it very easy to adjust the projector.

Finally gonna have good weather this weekend. Don't know what I'm gonna show but the screen goes up Friday night and will stay up till Monday. So sick of either really hot humid weather or just enough rain to keep me from trying to put up the screen.

Weather has been the biggest problem for me the last 3 years. I have only done 1 show this year and that was for Thunder Over Louisville during the Kentucky Derby. The last 2 years were very rainy. We would have pretty good weather all week then rain for the weekend. This year has also been pretty wet but on the dry weekends it was just too hot and with the heat index near or above 100 even if I did set up I would probably be the only one outside. I'm hoping fall is a little better.

I will be doing our annual Thunder Over Louisville party Saturday night. We will have our Sunday school class over for hot dogs, brats and everyone brings a side. There is an air show during the day and one of the largest fireworks shows in the U.S. If we're lucky the planes will fly over our house as they leave the airport and head down to Downtown Louisville and the river. The weather is supposed to be great this weekend so it should be a really good night for fireworks on the big screen. Plus I just got a new sub that I'm dying to try out!

I am bad with pictures ever since I was told to take pictures in an art museum. Man I wish I was told I was to use a camera Wink Wink
That's funny right there. I don't care who you are!

Usually I pop a bunch using the whirley pop then put it in the machine. My machine is one of the small 4 oz poppers on a cart that they sell at walmart. It's good for the idea of a machine but I don't have to clean it near as much.

I'm with genesis. All of my byt equip. is in my sun room. I have a pair of speakers outside under the sun room eves so I can have music anytime on the deck or in the pool. Then when I have a movie I switch these speakers to rear surrounds with a speaker switcher. During the winter I like to "hide out" in the sun room and watch a movie or listen to music. Except for the projector and main speakers my byt stuff gets used all year.

In Mount Washington just south of Louisville. Tons of rain Wed. then 18" snow last night. Last summer was mostly a wash out with rain nearly every weekend. Hope this year is better but it's not starting out too good. Record snow for March and tonight may set a record cold for the month at -2 degrees. Last winter took forever but not as bad as this year.

18" of snow last night here in Ky just south of Louisville. No BYT here for awhile. Would love to move farther south.

I use a Sewell Spyder 4x2 splitter. Works very well. You don't have to have all devices on for it to work. I have it connected to a Bluray, DVD, Chromecast and laptop. Out put go to the projector and an LCD TV. It's not seamless like a Kramer as here is a lag but for $120 it works fine. Here is a link o Sewell.

I usually make mine with the whirley pop then put it in the popcorn machine. Quicker this way and way easier to clean up. And your right Tek, I have had mine for years.
