I have a roll of movie screen material I am going to get rid of. The roll is 62" wide. Its a white, heavy material that has a UV coating and can be used for either front or rear projection. It has a slight reflective coating as well to brighten images. I was planning on getting into business setting up outdoor movie systems, but never went through. I am selling the screen by the yard. It will have unfinished edges. I had one screen made 120"x 300" and the seam in the middle was not visible during movies.

$10/yard + shipping.

Hey guys.. When I first got into BYT, I was planning on expanding into a rental and sales business... After a few years, I realized its just not going to happen. I purchased 2 domains that I am looking to sell. I've never sold domains before, so I'm not sure of the whole procedure, but if anyone is interested, let me know and I'll figure it out...

8  Backyard Theater discussions / General discussion / Another Legal question on: March 13, 2008, 10:28:40 am
I know this legal issue for public showings has been beaten around numerous times, but I just had someone bring something else to my attention. Has anyone explored the legalities of renting movies from a public library for public showings? Our township recreation director was at a conference last week and outdoor movies was discussed. Apparently, Public libraries have a different agreement that allows their movies to get around licensing agreements. I'm going to try to research this through our county library, but wanted to see if someone else has already looked into this.

I have a HR20 HD DVR from Directv. I run HDMI to my plasma monitor.. no speakers, 1080i res. I have optical out of my DVR going to my Integra 6.2 receiver and get full surround sound. The sat box is also pass through on the component connection as well. I have both to my TV..

I sympathize with you guys in this situation. I am shocked I haven't had a mee too post regarding this. My neighbor loves to call the police on my for having fun. I've done probably 12 movie nights this summer without an issue, but I try to end by 10:30-11:00. We've been out playing xbox later on occasion, but still no ocifers. I have the advantage that from her pool or house area, she can't see my screen. My next step is to put up a fence or quick grow pine trees to make a border so she can't see a thing.

Duct tape can and has been used in the past. NASA and their inventions, so useful !

Gorilla Tape is even better.. its black, and it sticks to anything. I used it to temporarily patch a hole in my pool. Glue still worked when wet.
