franco was surprisingly likeable in this one. only felt like punching him in the face a couple of times. lol

great overall movie though

like a good cheese with a fine wine, i would pair Waterworld with a '63 Battleship (not from '63). its got water, robots, chicken burritos, and AC/DC

^yes. that way they run off in the yard whilst the rest of the people watch the movie. plus candy. lots of candy

maybe have some empty kitchen paper roll tubes and have the kids build their own swords? lots of glue and markers! glitter for the girls!

^geez that just blows my mind! 100 glow sticks for .08/ea = $9! too bad they dont have white color in stock right now. i just ordered 75 for $36 from amazon (3 packs of 25 each in red white and blue colors) that comes out to .48/ea! will get from them for any next orders though!

^ i had done something similiar to that. had the projector on a spare piece of wood sitting on top of a portable basketball court. i wish i had that setup as it stops most kids from gettin in front to do hand puppets.

^yeah the good part is anywhere not called East LA! lol. Commerce is south of East Los (as we locals call it), and south of Whittier. right off the 5 freeway between the 710 and the 605.

also... i've been a month dry of disney! i will be reacquainted with it tomorrow though fo' sho!

btw, roseranch is somewhere in the valley if i recall correctly. it'd be sa-weet if we could setup a So Cal Movie Night. my parents live in Commerce (just south of East LA... in a GOOD part of East LA ) plenty of parking and maybe abouts halfway betwix pomona and the valley. holla!

edit: dang! forgot to mention my movies. will start up friday night movies again. every friday night will be at least 1 kids movie at the beginning. animated, kids friendly, funny (no foul-mouthed stuff). then perhaps a "summer blockbuster". think whatever Will Smith was in... except Happyness.

Saturday nights at Mega Tronn Theater would probably be the newer action movies, mixed with comedies. its like the Sweet to a Sour, the Cheech to a Chong, the Knick to the Knack.
