The big night is here. We've handed out flyers and received alot of positive feedback! We will be showing  Over the Hedge to tie in the surroundings of the Pocono mts. I'll post post- show pics and let you all know how it went. Keep the movies roll'in!

My grand opening is tonight also.  The bad news is I'm about 99% sure I broke my big toe on my right foot this morning, so setting up ahs been a real blast.  Embarrassed

A broken toe, ouch.  And not much the Dr. can do either.   I wish you the best.

Opening night was great! We had 21 people show up. It cooled down to about 61 degrees and the sky was blanketed with stars. Over the Hedge was a big hit for kids as well as the adults. We served hotdogs and everyone brought more than enough popcorn. I'm sure once the word gets around during the week the attendance will grow. But let me tell you this, We have lived in this mostly vacation  home community for about 9 years and last night we've met more neighbors than we did in all of the years. Everybody enjoyed the pre-movie chit chat. We had name tags as well as a guest sign in book and there was not one neighbor who didn't thank us for this wonderful experience to enjoy the movie and being able to meet new neighbors. Thanks to backyard theater.com for shouting out this unique neighborly experience. Oh, by the way I used the song the hamster dance from the movie" Are we there yet"as part of my pre-movie intro and the kids started dancing all crazy like. It was a site to see!!! Thanks for the input.
