Wish I could have been there.  Looks like it was a good time.  I certainly hope SpargeFest will be an annual event!!

I personally think that we should take turns.  Sparge and his family put in a TON of work hosting and I think that next year he should get to relax and enjoy the meetup instead of working the whole time.

He has some pretty big shoes to fill though!  Spargefest was amazing!

Just talked to Aleuni about having a Spargefest in Miami.
Maybe Sparge's family is off the hook for Christmas...

Oops, missed this one! I think that every gathering, no mater where it is, should be named Spargefest in honor of the guy that pulled this off. It should remember that Movielover did have this last year so perhaps he should get naming royalties...

Does SpargeMom really have mead?

SpargeMom's not much of a drinker, but she prefers wine to beer.  So, everytime one of my brewing buddies comes over for a movie night he brings her a bottle of his homemade mead.  It's pretty tasty!

Love the 3-1 screen!  I'm going back to BOC!!!  I was running around Park City and Moab last week and looks like I missed a great time and an opportunity to learn something.

Hope to make next year's wherever it may be.

Man, do I have some catching up to do.  Looks like you all had a blast!!

I'm back from a long weekend in The Ozarks, which was almost a trip to northern Ohio, which could have included a jump down to Spargefest, but it didn't work out that way.  I'm really sorry I couldn't make it.

Congrats to all who attended!

Randy

Here are some more pics from SpargeFest...

I think the rain stopped about 4 o'clock.  We took a few minutes to let things dry up a bit.  Since we had already lost the better part of the afternoon everybody hit the ground running to get screens and equipment set up!

I love this pic as it represents quite the BYT brain trust!  Sorry if I outed anybody with the labels!  Wink

These shots are from the north side of the garage structure where we set up movielover's CB inflatable for rear projection.  Right now it's still a work in progress.  The EZ-up canopy and gear to the left are plymouth's rig.  One can see Joe's trailer on the right.  The screen was eventually flanked by not one, but two complete sound systems!  Plymouth started off the evening by showing "Cars" in high-def.  Later in the evening we switched to front projection and this became the "gaming" screen which ran until the wee hours of the morning.
