Hey Fred, the coconut clusters ROCK!  Haven't cracked the seal on the fudge yet.

Get ready for the sugar coma!  That's some RICH fudge!  Grin

Agreed the "haystacks" are good, but the cashew clusters are the BEST!  Cool

while i have the time on this Christmas evening i want to say good bye and see you all later.

i have a busy week coming up and don't know how much time i'll have to get on and write.

sunday i need to make chocolates, i want to stock up for a month or 6 weeks, i didn't get to the last time.

monday i have to go to the hospital and get blood work done, chest x-rays and an EKG. who knows how long i will have to sit and wait for those, i hope not to long, i get impatient.

tuesday i need to get things in order, pay insurances, trash bill for the next three months, get a new registration for my car, order my new cigarette license and do a general cleaning so i can come home to a semi decent place.

wednesday is taking medication and a clean out of my insides day again (if that goes as well as the last one it will be nothing).

i got three prescriptions to take throughout the day, two are horse size antibiotic pills, they are to clean out any bacteria that is in my intestinal tract. the third is a potassium pill, the surgeon wants me to have a high level of potassium before he operates.

i hope taking the antibiotics means that i won't be getting pumped full of antibiotics for 7 days like the last time. although if that is needed i will gladly accept it. because they worked wonders the last time and i had no post operative pain or trouble at all.

my right hand is still numb and that may pose a problem for getting two IV's put in, they like to have two when they do surgery in case a vein collapses or they need one for blood.

i will find out wednesday afternoon what time surgery is, all i know now is that the nurse wrote down 8am on the doctor's calendar. i will try to let everyone know when i know.

i said it before and i'll say it again, i'm scared. not necessarily of the surgery itself but what comes after it and the long hospital stay, no food for at least 4 or 5 days. the memory loss and not having any energy at all and not being able to get comfortable when i get home. i think i'll sleep for 6 to 8 weeks again and when i wake up it will almost be spring.

i am sending my contact information to randy, joe, tim, cecil and rich.

your prayers will be greatly appreciated, thank you !!!  Grin

the hospital just called and i have to be there at 7:30am tomorrow, thursday the 30th. and surgery is scheduled for 9am, depending if the doctor is ready they told me. so hopefully 24 hours from now i am back in my room, awake, with no pain waiting to pass gas... then i can start to eat and go home the next day  Grin but it may take up to 4 days for that to happen.

since i'll miss the New Year thread let me be the first to say Happy New Year to everyone !!!

Honey I'm Home !!!

i was discharged last night about 7:30pm. right now i am doing well, except i am 100% miserable, can't sleep, can't eat, though i am starved.

my dad dropped me off at my place till this afternoon. i want to shower and try to sleep a few hours.

i will be back in a day or so, i am not as talkative as last time when i got home, my parents mentioned this also.

you'll get all the gritty details soon, than you all for the concern and prayers  Grin
