do you think it would be worth it to fix?

Does it power up at all?

I would open it up and check for any fuses, replace them and then test again, if it fails, the evaluate your options

yeah mate thats more my style...

opened her up and checked fuse, mains wiring, power switch etc. no scorch marks or anything obvious, im gonna let it go.

damn thing was gorgeous *sigh*
