I need your help again folks!!

We are planning on a “DAY OF GLUTTONY & A night of Movies” this summer. From like 2:00 to 8:00 (food) we are serving nothing but decadent food & drinks. As you may have guessed our families really like to eat.

So………what to show for movies?  Anything out there that deals with excessive eating or gluttony. I was thinking of Jaws (man that dude can really eat) as one of the movies. Also night of the living dead or one of its families.  But I am open to any idea. If I do Jaws or Dead I don’t want to do another Jaws/dead type movie for the second….how about a good comedy that deals with over eating? Maybe a Guy Fieri show for a pre-show show.

Thanks in advance Richard

I also have not watched Motel Hell in many years I forget if there are any good eating scenes in the movie.

Also there may be some kids there so we may have to make it light so I need ideas in every direction

I can't think of any eating/gluttony movies, but if you can't find anything you could go with a movies that involve a restaurant...

Mystic Pizza comes to mind, being in CT and all.
I Love You to Death, with Kevin Kline

..I'm running out of ideas already.

How about Shallow Hal?  Harold and Kumar go to White Castle?

or ( just trying to think of eating flicks ).  'Supersize Me'?

Couple other ideas here:

Chocolate or Ratatouille?

Good probably isn't the right word.

It's one of those films you have to be in the mood for.

It's a pretty dark film, if memory serves. I have it on DVD.

No Reservations is kind of cute - a predictable romantic comedy, but still kind of cute.  Sort of Ratatouille in the flesh.

Or what about Dennis' recommendation: Big Night.

Off the top of my head:

Animal House (for the food fight)
Monty Python's The Meaning of Life (man eats SO much he explodes)
"The Great Tri-County Pie Eat" (Stand By Me)

We like the notion of your day.  Good luck!
