Anyone know what brand this is?  Or is it possible it's actually "Nostalgia" brand? LoL!

I wasn't sure if this was any good or if it falls under the "don't buy it cause it's Chinese garbage" category...

Looks like it's the same one Home Depot sells for $208 but I can't be sure...

I don't know if they're the same brand but they are different sizes.  The unit from Big Lots is smaller.  It has a 2oz kettle based on that 1oz of kernels makes about 1 quart of popcorn.  The unit from Home Depot lists a 4oz kettle.

I think most might find a 2oz machine to be too small.  I have an el-cheapo "8oz" machine.  It's the Roosevelt from the Great American Popcorn Company (made in China, by the way).  The kettle is under-powered and a bit shallow.  So, it's really more like a 6oz machine.  I start each movie night by making 2 or 3 batches (12-18 oz).  Using a 2oz machine I'd need to make 6 to 9 batches in a row to get the same amount of popcorn.  That's a lot of extra time/work.  Of course if you're only making popcorn for a family of four it's probably fine.

I just picked one up with a neighbor of mine. It is 2.5 oz kettle (so it claims) and the quality is quite poor. It doesn't look like the picture as there is no kernel tray and the bottom is completely plastic. It will be difficult to clean for sure.
