Orchard Hardware Supply or OSH had these on sale for $99.99 and they pay the tax. They had quite a few and are on sale again tomorrow. I picked up two.

Just saw this at Lowes.com pretty much same thing, but you have to pay tax. $99.00

Dang! I paid full price for this heater a few months ago.  I've only used it a few times. Gets good & hot, but for sitting there's a sweet spot for the heat in a ring about 3 to 6 feet from the base. Since the reflected heat travels away from the base sitting right next to the heater is cooler than sitting 3-4 feet away. That's my experience thus far.

Thanks for the info. Still need to go get propane. Hopefully we will get to use this next weekend.

Oh, and for those who've never used one of these patio heaters before when you first get it hooked up and/or when you've had the propane tank shut off for a while it seems like it takes forever to get gas up to the top to get the pilot to light.  I think it took 3-4 minutes of holding the knob it the first time I used it.
