I went to Carl's Place and am having a hard time finding finished screens. I was going to buy another 9' x 16' or a 9' x 22' because mine got damaged at the end of the summer, my screen fell down by huge high winds and my dogs jumped all over it and damaged it beyond repair. I loved his screens, they were perfect for what I use them for. I guess we have to call to find what we want.

Yes, I just got one from them yesterday. They've changed the website around a bit so it's a little tougher to find them. Send an email to Joe at info@carlofet.com. He is great to work with. They have a new material that looks pretty nice. It's a PVC based material. I went with BOC because I'm leaving mine out 24/7 and I think it will hold up better.

DANG! a 9x16 sized "flexiwhite" material screen is close to double the price i paid for the BOC 9x16!

i do accept "test" strips Carl... say 9'x16' :p

I see that Carl is now doing a 13.5 X 24 in BOC. I'd like to give to give one of these a try. Imagine trying to hang one of these bad boys.......

I asked them to send me a sample of the flexiwhite to see how it looks and how it holds up outside 24/7. I know how the BOC stands up here in Arizona, but I have concerns that a PVC based material would expand and contract quite a bit with the heat we have here. I think it would entail a lot of re-tightening of the screen and I am too lazy to deal with that. Being that we won't see 100 degree days here for a while, I'm going to hang it from the eaves on a south facing wall and see what happens.

I noticed that the other day.  I was looking at getting my first screen from Carl, and was going to get one after the holiday season so I could have it ready by Spring time.  Now I have choices other than size, and I don't know what to do.  Now I have to do more research? Great. . .

So how DOES the BOC hold up being outside 24/7 in AZ?
