Anyone using a USB media player like this https://amzn.com/B008NO9RRM to save and play their preshows from?  I was thinking of saving my preshow files on a USB drive and playing it that way.  I could then have my dvd player and media player both plugged into an HDMI switch and just switch to the dvd player when the preshow is over.

I have two of the Speck G2s and an WD TV Live for pre-show files. They work great although the G2s have historically been more reliable (the TV Live fails to see my USB drives regularly and requires a restart to find it). I use the G2s for playlists and the TV Live for other functionality although most of my racks have modern Blu-ray players now making the TV Live redundant.
